The one of not famous Wing Chun techniqie is a technique of blows on pain zones on adversary's arms. Wing Chun is a system of a close combat. The one of ways of entering a close combat is the technique of pain blows on adversary's arms. This techniques has a series of tactical advantages: it allows to neutralize adversary's arms before entering a close combat, decreases a risk to miss a counterattacking blow. Main pain blows in adversary's arms are generalized in this book.

Traditionally in martial arts blows by arms are stricken in the adversary’s trunk. Just these blows have the most damage force, so attention is concentrated on them. But Wing Chun system includes the striking principle that goes beyond the traditional striking tactics. It is following: to strike blows on the part of the adversary’s body, nearest to a fighter.

It is rather wide principle that may have a different practical application depending on a situation. If an adversary is in the stance with an arm extended far, the nearest point is his extended arm. If an adversary presses his arms to the trunk, the nearest point is his front leg. If a fighter attacks by the arms, the adversary’s nearest point is his striking arm. Just blows on arms became a subject of this book. Blows on adversary’s arms instead of main accented blows on the adversary’s head and trunk are the special case of the principle of blows on the nearest part of the adversary’s body.
