The information transmitted through the IoT includes sensitive data such as banking information, geographic data, environmental data, medical information, and other personal information. Hence, it is crucial to acknowledge the security challenges posed by the IoT and address them appropriately. This chapter presents comprehensive insights into the security challenges associated with the Internet of Things, while considering the vast scope of the topic and existing literature.
